What should I do if there’s a power cut?

Check our outage map

If the power outage is large, we usually already know about it and are on our way to repare it. Our outages map shows sudden outages and planned power cut.

Reporting a fault

Before reporting a fault, you should first check the outages map. The map is updated approximately every five minutes. If you can see the power cut is already displayed on the map, olease only report a fault if you have more specific information  for example the fault location.

If you are aware of a non-urgent fault in the electrical network, please use the link below to report it. We process fault reports from 8 am to 8 pm each day. After reporting a fault in this way, it will usually take around 1 to 3 days tp process.

There is no need to fill in the fault report if you have already told us about it by telephone or you know that the fault has been reported.

If the fault requires urgent attention, please call Caruna’s fault reporting service on 0800 1 95 011, free of charge. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Please see our advice on Compensation for power cuts and damages if you need to submit a compensation claim for any outage.
