Electronic customer communications continue to serve during postal strike

Posti and the Post and Logistics Union PAU announced on Thursday, 7 November that a post delivery, handling and transportation strike is to start on Monday, 11 November. Collection and delivery services will not operate normally during the strike. This means that the delay in letter deliveries can be up to several weeks. We are preparing for the possible impacts the strike may have on customers.

The post carrier strike has a direct effect on post delivery, which means that Caruna's notifications on maintenance work or paper invoices will not be delivered on time to customers. 

We recommend that our customers switch to electronic communications and invoicing. This ensures that information on momentary interruptions in electricity distribution as well as invoices get to the recipient in good time.

Easy management in Caruna+ – also via mobile

Our electronic service channel, Caruna+, enables you to manage your electricity at your own convenience. You can monitor your electricity consumption, browse or update your customer information, and view and pay your invoices. You can use the free service at any time. It is available 24/7 both on the computer and as a mobile app – download the app from AppStore or Google Play.

If power is cut off, we will inform you about the interruption in electricity distribution and its duration via SMS or email. Activate the free Sähkövahti service in Caruna+. Please also keep your contact information up-to-date to make sure you get all messages.

Strike or not, electronic post is always delivered

We offer our private customers alternatives to replace paper invoices. You can select email invoices, e-invoices, or invoices to Posti's OmaPosti service. Find out more about our invoicing alternatives. 

Switching to electronic invoices is easy. To activate email invoices, simply contact our customer service through the chat on our website at caruna.fi, on Facebook, on Twitter, or by calling. You can find our contact information on our website.

To activate e-invoices, go to your online bank. You will need the reference number on your latest invoice. Please see the instructions of your bank. If needed, please contact Caruna's customer service for more information. 

In the OmaPosti service, you can receive and archive invoices electronically and pay them through the service whatever your bank is. OmaPosti can be used and activated via a mobile app or online at www.oma.posti.fi
