Caruna in 2020 describes how Caruna monitors, maintains and modernises its weatherproof electricity network for more than 700,000 customers across two very different network companies: Caruna Oy in sparsely populated areas and Caruna Espoo Oy, the urban network company.
We protect the everyday life of our customers by taking care of electricity network 24/7. We are also actively working to combat climate change. The Annual Report also sheds light on how we create value for our various stakeholders and the Finnish society at large. A strong, smart network will enable increases in renewable energy, electric transport and high-speed data connections.
Caruna has reported on corporate responsibility in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 materiality process since 2015. Since 2018, Caruna has used GRI Standards for corporate responsibility reporting.
